Attended University of Calgary during off-seasons of his years in Team Canada program. ... Was among last players cut from Team Canada prior to 1988 Winter Olympics. He finished the 1987-88 season with Moncton (AHL). ... Became Swiss citizen by marriage in 1995 so that he could join Zurich as a non-import player. ... Remained in Switzerland after his retirement, working for Swissair. He eventually became the head of the airline's in-flight entertainment division.
