scout in 1997, prior to team's inaugural 1998-99 season and remained in that
position through 2001-02 season. ... Named Colorado amateur scout prior to
2002-03 season and remained in that position through 2006-07 season.
Miscellaneous: Drafted by former Colorado Rockies team that had already
committed to moving to New Jersey for 1982-83 season. The team, however, had
no official name at the time Hepple was drafted. ... Fought Ron Greschner at
3:24 of the third period in his first NHL game. ... Signed with Toronto as
unrestricted free agent in July 1988, but never played for parent team. |
