and Hamilton (OHL) as an overage junior in 1984-85. ... Traded by Oshawa (OHL)
with Steve Hedington and 1985 sixth-round OHL priority selection pick (Andy
May) to Hamilton in exchange for Gary McColgan and Brent Loney in December
1984. ... Shifted from defense to play forward during his career in Great
Britain. ... Passed away at his home in Sherburn Village, County Durham,
England after battling a serious illness for several years. He was buried in
his hometown of Cobourg, Ontario. |
