No. 1 QMJHL prospect for the 1982 NHL draft. ... Not selected in 1981 NHL draft despite being
eligible. ... Born in Haiti, but moved with family to the Quebec City area when he was
six months old. Vilgrain's father was an economist and consultant to Haiti's
Department of Agriculture, and his grandfather, Lelio Vilgrain, was a
prominent Haitian judge who often mentioned as a presidential candidate.
Vilgrain's great uncle was also a well-known doctor in Haiti, who was
immortalized in his native Port-au-Prince when the city named a street "Rue
Vilgrain" for him. |

Ron Hextall to give the Canucks a 2-1 lead in an eventual 7-3 win by the

suffered during New Jersey's Oct. 29, 1991, game at Vancouver, with
concussion, an injury suffered in New Jersey's Dec. 13, 1991, game vs.
