WHA Draft Pick: 1975 (by Winnipeg, No. 156 overall in Round 12)
1977-78: Played on Skelleftea team that went on to win Swedish
championship, but was not with team during postseason.
Miscellaneous: Was mistakenly selected by Atlanta, which confused him
with Kent Nilsson, a player the Flames wanted to draft. Kent Nilsson, however,
was not eligible for the 1975 draft because he was only 19 years old. When
Atlanta selected Torbjorn Nilsson, it thought it had drafted Kent Nilsson.
Atlanta did select Kent Nilsson in 1976. |
