HOW HE GOT AWAY |
MERGER/WAIVERS: Shinske was part of the
Cleveland franchise when it folded after the 1977-78 season. When the
Cleveland team merged with Minnesota, Shinske was selected by Minnesota in the
Cleveland-Minnesota dispersal draft on June
15, 1978. Minnesota later put him on waivers. He was claimed by St. Louis on Aug. 14, 1978. |
