HOW HE GOT AWAY |
FREE AGENCY: Adduono played out his option
with Boston after the 1977-78 season and became a free agent, signing with
Birmingham (WHA). When Birmingham folded and the WHA merged with the NHL in
June 1979, Adduono became a free agent again. He signed with Atlanta on
October 9, 1979. |
