an injury suffered when he was hit in the throat by a Steve Sutherland slap
shot during a Cincinnati game vs. Quebec. ... Was on Hampton (AHL) team that
folded on Feb. 2, 1978. ... When NHL and WHA merged in 1979, his rights were
taken back by Vancouver in NHL Reclaim Draft on June 9, 1979. ... Left unprotected by
