Missed part of 1972-73 season with collapsed lung and appendectomy. ... Missed most of 1976-77 season with compound fracture in left wrist, an injury suffered when he crashed into the goalpost during Cincinnati's Sept. 25, 1976, WHA preseason game at Quebec. The injury required surgery. He was unable to play until January 1977, when he returned to action with Springield (AHL).
