career.
- Missed most of 1972-73 season after
coming down with mononucleosis in November 1972.
- Opted to retire after struggling with mononucleosis during
1972-73 season. He lost 33 pounds due to the illness and did not
play at all in 1973-74, refusing to re-sign with the Rangers
organization. He returned to Timmins, Ontario, and became an
unrestricted free agent after 1973-74. He then signed with Syracuse
(NAHL) for the 1974-75 season.
- Missed part of 1975 playoffs with knee injury.

Served as Syracuse (NAHL) alternate captain in 1975-76.
- Suspended three games by NAHL for role in Jan. 7, 1976, brawl at
Binghamton.
- Played on 1976-77 Syracuse team that won NAHL regular-season
title.
- Missed part of 1976-77 season with
strained ligaments in right knee, an injury suffered during
Syracuse's Nov. 21, 1976, NAHL game vs. Johnstown. He did not return
until Syracuse's Dec. 3, 1976, game vs. Binghamton. He re-aggravated
the injury in Syracuse's Dec. 10, 1976, game vs. Maine and did not
return until Syracuse's Dec. 15, 1976, game vs. Philadelphia.
- Played on line with Jimmy Cowell and Pat Russell for Syracuse in
1976-77.
- Won NAHL Lockhart Cup with Syracuse in
1977.
