having a heated argument with head coach Bill Long at end of first period.
Long forced him to get out of uniform and watch the rest of the game
from the stands. He apologized the following day and returned to the
team for its second playoff game vs. Toronto.

Draft, the first draft in WHA history, in February 1972.
