Led OHA with 85 assists while playing left wing on line with Marcel
Dionne for St. Catharines in 1970-71. ... Played in 1971 Memorial Cup
tournament with St. Catharines (OHA).
Scored only NHL goal in his second game with Pittsburgh on Nov. 9, 1971, at St. Louis. His goal, scored at 18:26 of the third period, closed out the scoring in a 4-1 win. ... Won CHL Adams Cup with Omaha in 1973. ... Played two regular-season games for 1977-78 Toledo team that went on to win IHL Turner Cup, but was not with team during playoffs.

in exchange for cash and future considerations. June 6, 1973 -- Signed WHA contract with Alberta.
May 30, 1974 -- Claimed by
Indianapolis from Edmonton in WHA Expansion Draft.
December 1975 -- Signed with Toledo
(IHL) as an unrestricted free agent, although IHL later forced Toledo to
gain permission from Atlanta (NHL) in order to let him play. The IHL
initially wanted Toledo to forfeit all three wins in which McKenzie had
played, but the dispute was settled by declaring them to be ties instead.
