- Took part in Philadelphia's 1970 training
camp but never signed with Flyers.
- Missed part
of 1972-73 season with knee injury.
- Played one game for 1972-73 Dallas team that
went on to win CHL regular-season title.
- Missed
part of 1973-74 season with shoulder injury, suffered while playing
with Dallas (CHL).
- Played 21 regular-season
games for 1973-74 Dallas team that went on to win CHL Adams Cup, but
was not with team during postseason due to injury.

Signed WHA contract with Edmonton in February 1974-75.

Set WHA record (later broken) for fastest two goals from the start
of a game by scoring twice for Edmonton in the first 1:24 of an 8-5
home win over Quebec on March 18, 1975. The goals were scored at 1:12 and
1:24 of the first period.
- Convicted of assault and sentenced to four months in prison on July
17, 1975, as a result of April 26, 1975, incident in an Edmonton
restaurant. He was accused of pushing a restaurant employee who told him
he would not be served because he and his friend, Richard Cautley, had
gone straight to a table without waiting to be seated. He then punched
another man, an off-duty policeman, who had tried to intervene. His
punch broke the police officer's nose and cheekbone.
