Career Beyond Hockey: Went into the
business of managing golf courses and resorts after his retirement from
hockey in 1983. He began his career in Japan after coaching there, and
then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. He was named the Hawaii Prince Hotel's
general manager in charge of golf in 1997 and then took over the Mauna
Kea Resort's golf and residential services operations as general manager
in 2001. He eventually was named the Corporate Director of Golf for
Hawaii Prince Resorts in 2008.
