June 5, 1972 -- Claimed by Vancouver from Boston in NHL Intra-League Draft. May 1973 -- WHA rights traded by Chicago to Minnesota in exchange for future considerations. June 1974 -- Signed WHA contract with Minnesota. Sept. 4, 1975 -- Traded by Minnesota (WHA) with George Morrison and WHA rights to Wally Olds and Joe Micheletti to Calgary in exchange for John McKenzie and cash. August 1977 -- Rights assigned by WHA to Quebec after Calgary franchise officially folded. Sept. 19, 1977 -- WHA rights and contract obligations transferred by Quebec with Peter Donnelly to Edmonton to settle dispute over rights to Ron Chipperfield, who had signed with Edmonton after Calgary team folded even though Quebec officially owned his playing rights.
