Denver in 1970-71 and 1971-72.
- Served as
University of Denver captain and won
Masterton Award as team's MVP for 1971-72.
- Selected
by New York Raiders in 1972 WHA General Player Draft, the first
draft in WHA history, February 1972.
- Signed with New
York Raiders in July 1972 for WHA's inaugural season in 1972-73
and played in team's first game on Oct. 12, 1972, at Madison
Square Garden.
- Suffered
two skull fractures during his playing career, including one
suffered during 1972-73 WHA season.
- Missed part of 1975-76 season with torn knee ligaments, an injury
that required surgery.
