After the Draft
-
Despite coming from a powerful midget team, he was unable to break
into pro hockey due to the limited number of roster spots available
in the days of a six-team NHL. Part of the problem for all of the
players from Georgetown was the fact that they had grown up playing
on a rink which was smaller than the NHL regulation rink size and
their skating skills were not as well developed as a result.
