Daily 2018 Draft Prospect Updates

PROSPECT-UPDATE ARCHIVE

No need for any list of stars on this quiet Monday night, as only a handful of players took the ice, and almost all of the action was in Russia's MHL. None of those players scored a goal, and none of the goaltenders won a game..

But if you like prospect stats, here is the general breakdown from MHL Monday. Kirill Marchenko had an assist and was plus-1 for Khanty-Mansiysk. Ivan Muranov, the most intriguing skater prospect of this MHL Group, was minus-1 with a minor penalty, and Amir Miftakhov, the most intriguing goalie, lost his start while stopping 24 of 27 shots.

Muranov now has a four-game point streak, and Miftakhov has lost three straight, including one in overtime, but has a solid .915 save percentage over the span. He remains a definite candidate to be among the first few goaltenders drafted.
