as an overage junior in 1984-85. ... Remained in Calgary after his
retirement, and eventually went to work for company called The Christmas
Lights Guys. The company helps homeowners rig up their Christmas lights in
an elaborate and professional way. The company was founded in 1994, and
Machej ended up taking over from the company founders in 2001. ... Became
active in Calgary public affairs, serving on city's Business Revitalization
Zone committee in 2003. |
