He also scored a goal on his second NHL shot and on his third NHL shot. ...  Missed part of 1985-86 season with sprained knee, suffered during N.Y. Islanders' Dec. 6, 1985, game at Quebec. ... Missed part of 1986-87 season with torn shoulder muscle, an injury suffered during N.Y. Islanders' March 13, 1987, game at New Jersey. ... Missed remainder of 1987-88 season with broken left thumb and dislocated right wrist, suffered in his final NHL game with N.Y. Islanders on Jan. 8, 1988, at Calgary. ... Released by N.Y.
