| TRADE: Pittsburgh traded Herron and Jean-Guy
Lagace to Kansas City in exchange for Michel Plasse on Jan. 10, 1975. Herron
came back to Pittsburgh when he signed as a restricted free agent on Aug. 7, 1976.
Colorado received Simon Nolet, Colin Campbell and Michel Plasse as
compensation for the signing. Pittsburgh lost Herron again when it traded him
with its 1982 second-round pick
(Jocelyn Gauvreau) to Montreal in exchange for Pat Hughes and Rob Holland on
Aug. 30, 1979. Pittsburgh got Herron back again when it obtained him from Montreal
in exchange for Pittsburgh's 1985 third-round pick (later traded) on Sept. 15,
1982. |
