European Career: Left North America in mid-1970s to pursue his playing career in Switzerland. He led Swiss league with 35 goals and 51 points in 28 games for Sierre during his first Swiss season in 1975-76. He went on to again lead Switzerland's top league with 30 goals for Sierre in 1978-79 and another 30 for Kloten in 1979-80. He also played for Davos in the 1980 Spengler Cup tournament.

Coaching Career: Served as player-coach of Martigny (Switzerland) from 1983-84 through 1984-85 in the last two of his 10 total seasons playing in Swiss league.
